In metro cities most of the girls wear sleeveless tops? Why is this style limited to Metro cities?

people in smaller towns & cities are more conservative & do not appreciate very revealing sense of dressing that is why some dressing ways are limited to big towns & cities.

Too much of pollution....... enviromental and mental. In rural India people wear less clothes because of poverty. In cities they wear less clothes to show more. City-breds have the tendency to flaunt.

There is sanskar and a conditioned mind set in nonmetro cities where girls are covered from the nape of the neck to toe. Sleevweless top give room for criticism and create problems for all thereby inviting nuisance. However a wrong notion is set in the metro girls that nonmetro girls are small town girls but little do they know that it is thease girls who make it to the top . Third in a metro the chances of eve teasing is less and hence girls do not find it problematic.

You can wear anything and get away in metros. nobody comments. busy life and indifference makes it possible. but it is not so in rural areas.A village is close knit and people comment on all your activities. so a dress is a social code which the ruralites will determine in order to keep the women in check and within bounds. therefore, nobody can wear it in rural side without being subjected to harsh critical analysis. People automatically avoid it and conform to generalia.
