Wash your hair with a dandruff control shampoo every alternate day for one week . Then switch to mild shampoo . Use boiled and cooled neem water as last rinse after shampoo . Once in a week apply hena paste mixing a the juice of one small lemon .
Keep your hair accessories , and clothes clean and rinse them with antiselptic liquid the day when you shampoo your hair .

Dandruff, or a flaky scalp problem, is probably one of the topics that I get asked about the most. First thing I do is ask them what they are currently using to combat the problem. The answer is almost always a dandruff shampoo. If you are a member of this group, you are taking the wrong approach. Hopefully, this article will educate you a little, so you can tackle your problem more effectively.

So, what exactly is it? The major cause is a fungus, called Malassezia, that feeds on the oils of the scalp, as well as cholesterol. Many times this fungus is caused by the toxins in everyday shampoo products. They are absorbed into the scalp, robbing the natural oils, causing the fungus to go deeper in order to "feed". So, the average person buys a dandruff shampoo to fight the problem.

These hampoos contain Tars, which literally burn the dead, flaky cells off the scalp. This is a temporary fix, not a solution to the problem. The only thing this does is take the surface flakes away, allowing the fungus to travel deeper to be nourished. This is why, when you stop using these products, the dandruff and flaking will worsen. They have only masked the problem, not addressed it.

Another popular Ingredient in these shampoos is Silicone. This is an artificial shine enhancer, and they use this because the extremely high PH level of these products leaves the cuticle opened and damaged, making it very dull. The side effects of the silicone is a clogging of the follicle and tightening of the pores. The combination of clogging and tightening will eventually kill the follicle, which is the feeding tube for the hair. Over time, the hair itself will eventually die and fall out. Silicone has also been linked to some forms of cancer.

Needless to say, I tell my Clients to stop using these products. Switch to a naturally balanced shampoo and creme rinse. Unfortunately, the flaking will get worse before it gets better. This is because the fungus has moved deep, and now that they are getting the scalp back in balance by using a naturally balanced shampoo ,it has to gradually chaffe itself off. A very good way to control how much is visible during this elimination period is to, after you shampoo, put a very small amount of olive oil or sweet almond oil in the palm of your hand. Then, rub it into the hand and massage it into the scalp. This will also help replenish the oils that the fungus has taken.

I recently got my cousin started on the road to dandruff recovery by introducing him to my natural shampoo and creme rinse. Home Remedy for Dandruff:

Hot steam bath is highly beneficial for the hair and scalp. Massage hot oil and wrap a hot damp towel on the head for few minutes.

Immerse peels of lemon in coconut oil for 8-10 days in sunshine. Now sieve and apply on the hair. Hair will become dandruff free.

Hot oil therapy is the best method to cure dandruff. Massage hot oil into the scalp at bedtime. Next morning an hour before the bath, rub lemon juice mixed with cosmetic vinegar into the scalp with cotton wool. Wash your hair properly and as a last rinse use the juice of one lemon in a cup of hot water. Continue this treatment once or twice a week for three months.

Mix two tablespoons of cosmetic vinegar and six tablespoons of hot water. Dab this with cotton on the scalp and leave it overnight. Next morning wash the hair with a shampoo. - Home Remedy for Dandruff

Mix beetroot juice in vinegar and apply on the scalp. Ginger juice and beetroot juice mixed together and applied on the scalp are also beneficial.

The juice of snake gourd is helpfulin the prevention and dandruff treatment. The juice should be rubbed over the scalp for this purpose.

Mix 2 tablespoons of fresh apple juice to 2 tablespoons of warm water, apply on hair, rub, leave for 10-15 minutes and then rinse. Repeat this process 2-3 times a week to get rid of dandruff. This dandruff remedy is useful natural remedy for dandruff.

Dandruff treatment - Massage your scalp with the mixture of olive oil and almond oil; leave it for five minutes after you feel the burning sensation. Rinse properly for a dandruff free hair.

Usually dandruff can be treated by antiyeast shampoos available without a prescription at your pharmacy. These shampoos contain different medicinal ingredients that contain salicylic acid, coal tar, or antifungal properties. Many dandruff shampoos are now more pleasant to use. Recent developments in zinc pyrithione shampoos have made them especially effective. Apply daily until the condition is controlled, and then one to three times a week as needed.

•Soak a spoon of fenugreek seeds in water overnight and then grind it into a fine paste in the morning. Apply it all over the scalp and rinse it off after half an hour.
•Massage your hair gently with curd and rinse • Massage your scalp gently with warm coconut oil twice a weekafter half an hour.

aloe vera dandruff cure - with aloe vera gel . About 10-15 minutes before you wash your hair, rub a lot of aloe vera gel into your scalp. leave it on for 10 minutes, and shampoo your hair like you regularly do. if you do this everyday the dandruff will stay away.

Using lime juice to wash hair.

Soak 2 tablespoons fenugreek seeds in water overnight. In the morning grind into a fine paste. Apply all over scalp and leave for ½ an hour. Wash with mild shampoo.

Ingredients: Olive oil and almond oil
Instructions: Mix the olive oil with the almond oil. Leave it on about 5 min.s after it starts to burn. Rinse well to clear dandruff.

Massage your hair with warm coconut oil and apply the juice of 2 lemons, steam your hair and leave the oil on for about 2 hours. Shampoo with a mild shampoo. Repeat 2-3 times a week.

Boil a handful of neem leaves in 4 teacups of water. After cooling and filtering, use for rinsing hair.

Dandruff remedy---

1-Massaging your hair and scalp with fingertips from lukewarm olive oil +some drops lemon juice,wash after 1 hours by anti dandruff shampoo and apply conditioner on your hair .
2-You should eat protein food (ex milk,egg,cheese,soyabean,peas,etc)
3-You can try a simple home remedy for dandruff. Massage some vinegar into your hair and scalp and let it dry for a few minutes and then wash your hair.
