My husband has these little "sunspots" on his shoulders and upper back. His little brother also has the same spots. Turns out that it was diagnosed by a dermatologist as an actual fungus. Think athletes foot. I am sure that there is some kind of meds that you can take for it to help reduce the outbreak or hopefully clear it up completely, but it isn't hurting anything, and I think that it is kinda cute. :)

A specialist finally diagnosed it as vitiligo, a pigmentation disorder.

It's not ringworm, that is probably tinea versicolor. Wash your entire body with Selsun Blue (selenium sulfide kills it) everyday for 2 weeks. It will take a long time to go away, as the skin is now bleached whiter
