Regular facial is very effective in controlling the wrinkles because massage increases the blood circulation. It further results in tightening of the muscles and tissues of the skin and thereby reducing the fleshiness of the skin and thus restoring a young look. However, this process is very slow.
• Remove the make-up to open the pores of skin.
• Remove oiliness by applying limejuice or cleansing milk.
• Massage the face by applying a good quality cream with a firm pressure with help of fleshy tips of fingers.
• Start the massage from the neck upwards and end at the forehead.
• Do not apply pressure around eyes.
• Continue massage for about 15 minutes.
• Wipe off the face with wet cotton.
• For fast removal of wrinkles you should massage with the fingers of both the hands rapidly in circular motion.
• For removing the wrinkles on jaw, pinch the skin between your thumb and fingers.
• Pinching is also good if you have double chin.

Topical application of prescription drugs, most notably synthetic derivatives of Vitamin A (retinoids), can improve the appearance of sun-damaged and aging skin. For instance, topicals can be effective in diminishing fine wrinkles. However, most tretinoins are skin irritants and often produce skin reactions. In addition, any visible improvement may disappear when use of the drug is discontinued.

While we cannot reverse every possible cause of wrinkling, there are steps we can take to minimize the aging process:

Avoid excessive sun exposure, including sun lamps and tanning beds. Ultraviolet exposure is greatest between 10am and 4pm. Use sunscreens in combination with other sun-protective measures.

Quit Smoking. Smoking not only increases perioral wrinkles (wrinkling around the mouth) but also places you at a higher risk for skin cancer.

Lead a healthy lifestyle. This includes a balanced healthy diet, daily exercise, and stress reduction.

Daily skin care should consist of mild cleansing of the face daily, application of a moisturizer, and daily sunscreen use.

Avoiding overexposure to the sun should be the key element of any skin care regimen. Sunscreen with an SPF of 15 should be used on the face every day. Staying out of the sun when it is at its peak (between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.) is also advisable.
