Dark circles are veins that show through the skin underneath the eyes. In this area, the skin is usually thin, which increases with age. Light reflects off of it and transmits a dark color. In order to eliminate this effect, an individual must address the causes of dark circles: age, allergies, genetics, diet and lack of sleep.
step 1
Use anti-aging patches underneath the eye. Several cosmetic lines carry them. The purpose is to hydrate or add compounds to the eye area that plumps up the skin. It temporarily affects the aging process of the eye area, which normally results in thinning skin and increased dark circles.
Step2
Take allergy medication. Seasonal allergies lead to itchy, watery eyes. This usually causes an individual to rub them. This “rubbing” causes bruising and increased visibility of blood vessels or veins underneath the eye. So, to eliminate dark circles, it is important to get rid of this root source.
Step3
Apply a light cover-up. Cover-up make up can be applied to dark circles that are genetic and, as a result, permanent. Cosmetic manufacturers sell these products in small containers. Normally, it’s best to have a make-up artist (or counter girl) to demonstrate the use of a cover-up in order to achieve the best results.
Step4
Drink eight glasses of water and eat a healthy diet. Proper hydration and nutrition slows down the human body’s aging process. It will help stave off the thinning of the skin underneath an individual’s eyes. So, dark circles will be eliminated before they even start.
Step5
Get eight hours of sleep a night. These hours are what the average human requires a night. During this eight-hour period, the body restores and rejuvenates itself, which translates into increased health and glowing skin. Valuable cells are rejuvenated and, as a result, dark circles are reduced or eliminated.
