Papayas contain protein, as well as an enzyme that helps to promote flaking of dead skin.
Smooth the pulp of a fresh papaya over your face. Let sit five minutes, then wipe off with a damp washcloth. Follow with cool water patted gently onto your skin to close your pores. Use no more than once each week. Because papaya is a natural drying agent, if you use it too often, your skin may become too dry.
I say it for almost any skin type. Papaya removes dead skin and it might take a few times of use though. Are you using just papaya or it mixed with other stuff. This is the recipes I use. (I have acne and this makes it so much better!)
Papaya mask/exfoliant
Cut papaya in 1 inch chunks. Blend/mash 2 or 3 chunks and store the wrest in the freezer. Apply the blended/mashed papaya and leave on face for 10-20 min. Use 2 or 3x a week.
The papaya may tingle but that just means that the papaya is working and it is breaking down dead skin cells to give that lovely glow and since it breaks down the dead skin it clears out the pores and in turn they shrink!!! (You may not see the results you want until you use it for a while.)
If you want after the papaya mask try this to bring back some moisture the the skin.
Avocado Facial Mask (Very moisturzing)
Mash/blend the inside (no pit) of the avocado into a creamy texture. Apply to face let sit for 15 - 20 minutes. Rinse.takes 1 month to show its effects////////
