In one sense there're lots and lots of joint for North Indian Food. I found Dal-Roti in JP nagar good, but in recent times their quality has been degrdaded a bit. Also there's a punjabi dhaba in J.P. Nagar 3rd phase. Other than these two, you can find other food joints also, but somehow you'd smell the south indian taste mixed in it, with curry leaves all, be it the queens, or angeethi or something else. Some people may not agree with me, as when I say North Indian, I mean some homely food. After reading the post by 'Birmingee' I tried 'Nannus' in recent times. One should not categorize it, as some restaurent as they're mainly into home delivery. and if I rate it in terms of quality, quantity and affordabilty, I'll rate it 4.9/5.0. You can get a full fledged meal only in 35/- and in terms of quality, its on par with anybody, the same food if you're going to try out somewhere else, it would cost you somewhere arround 100+ bucks. You can say, they're pure north indian tiffin system. The best part is, they've not categorized themselves as some simple dabba wala, but they're making it a brand. You can order/cancel online or by mail or by phone. Also thy're very flexible in terms of number of meals, when to cancel etc. Better take a look on http://nannus.com. But alas!!! the areas are limited.
