if u r intrested in software field chose mca or if u r intrested in busssss choose mba thats u r choice .

It mostly depends on your interest. Go by what you are passionate about. If you ask for my suggestion I would prefer MBA over MCA cz MCA limits your choices. You can do MBA with dual specilizations wherein u can keep IT as one of your specialization. That would give you scope to try out various fields, you can do Marketing and get into IT marketing which is doing well now or can do HR and get into any software firm as HR.
MBA does help in project management and many MCA's are also doing a module of Business management after few years of work experience. So, in my view go for MBA but if you are really passionate about programming and product development then MCA is the course. You cannot become a programmer or a software engineer if you do MBA for that MCA is a must.

BCA??? If you feel you are comfortable with computers i would personally suggest you to take MCA...!!!!!

If u r interested in only software then its MCA , but if u want to cope up wit the modern life then MBA.. MBA wil give u a large field where u can join into,but u must hav interest in doing MBA..so think what is good for u, and i think u wil be the best judge for urself..all the best..

i think u should go for MCA as it u r core branch ...and u will b having base as BCA it ll help u lot... if want to do MBA u can do it any time in u r life...
so better to go MCA

i'm doing MCA in bangalore..Now, there is a lot of oppurtunities on the basis of BCA itself..I prefer to try for some interviews and then proceed..What ever may be the salary,atleast starting from 15k then u can join..otherwise, study MCA..

wht i can suggest is go for MCA because doing MBA without Work EX. is not so benificial. After having some on hand exp. then u should go for MBA.
