yes, because education is non parial issue. each student should be treated as equal. some guys are poor and they cant afford to buy expensive outfits

well 90% no and 10% yes .There are many colleges in india where very poor and very rich people study together . To make differences apart they have kept this dress code. .

The dress code is not compulsory, but then the colleges do not want indecent dressing either hence they have imposed the dress code.

if there will be dress code , wt will bedifference between school & colleges.- in against.

Hi,

To some extend yes! Colleges can have formal dress code, so that no vulgar dresses get encouraged.

Moreover, if you have same dress code, it will maintain equality. Different dresses can give student a sense of complex, specially for poor students, when they see their peers wear very good dress. Having same dress in college will eliminate this issue completely.

But as everyone knows it is a debatable issue.
