In order to get rid of your sufferings from getting excessive uric acid in your blood, your daily food intake should consists of moong daal and chapattis along with vegetables such as okra (bhindi), bitter gourd (karela), bottle gourd (lauki) prepared in less oil and spices. Eat good amount of sweet fruits such as watermelon, muskmelon and papaya. Avoid eating sour fruits and in salad add extra carrots, cucumbers and lettuce. Avoid taking non-vegetarian, oily and spicy junk food, milk products, dried beans, chocolates, ice creams, sweets, alcohol beverages, tobacco products and aerated cold drinks as these stuffs are not good for health and accumulate toxins in the body. You must go for brisk walk and take proper rest. Drink sufficient water to flush out uric acid crystals from the body. You should avoid getting constipated since in gouty arthritis, your digestive enzymes are dead thus digestion becomes slow. Take one tea spoon triphala powder daily with warm water after dinner to correct constipation.
Take equal quantity of turmeric, fenugreek and dried ginger powder. Mix them well and store in a clean glass jar. Take one tea spoon powder with warm water to get better results.
Take equal quantity of coriander (dhaniya), cumin (jeera) and fennel (saunf) seeds. Mix them well and store in a clean glass jar. Boil one tea spoon seeds in 300 ml water and drink thrice a day to get rid of acidity, gases and indigestion.
