What is the difference between unconsciousness and coma ?.  

ur way of questining is very diffrent and intrestiong.
there is a difference in the unconscious and coma
unconscious ness the man can be colapsed some time at that time he brain sells are not working properley. so he don't know at that time what happend to him .
in coma the man can be go to the unconscious ness but at the same time brains cells are totalley not working . if there is long time to recover that situation.
but in unconscious he recover in few minitues.

Coma is a type of unconsciousness. A comatose merciful is unconscious. However, not adjectives unconscious patients are comatose.

There are lots conditions that can cause any state.

The duration of time that a person is comatose is probably one of the more important factor separating coma from briefer states of unconsciousness, on the other hand there is no actual rigorous cut stale line that have been universally agreed upon.

the first is a temorary phase of blacking out and the second is a phase where one is partially conscious and not completely conscious of oneself

in an unconcious state your body will respond to painful stimuli where as in coma it will not.

The unconsciousness state may be brief. A brief period of unconsciousness may set in after a trauma such as seizures of fits. There may be a momentary one due to concussion. Some times the prolonged period of unconsciousness is called coma.

A deep prolonged sleep is COMA derived from the Greek word "KOMA" means deep sleep.Where as unconsciousness is lack of response to the surroundings and it may be for a longer or short duration.It is the result of seizures like in fits,concussions
