It is a powerful antibiotic used basically in Oral infections & STD infections.

azithromycin,is a penicillin derivative antibiotic.The generic name of the drug is Zithromax.It prevents bacteria from growing by interfering with their protein synthesis.It is active against many bacteria like-Staphylococcus aureus
Streptococcus agalactiae
Streptococcus pneumoniae
Streptococcus pyogenes
Haemophilus ducreyi
Haemophilus influenzae
Moraxella catarrhalis.Hence it is used extensively in the diseases caused by the above said Bacteria.
Neisseria gonorrhoeae
Chlamydia pneumoniae
Chlamydia trachomatis
Mycoplasma pneumoniae
Helicobacter pylori

A derivative of panicilin family and like palicilin it is an antibiotic. I would suggest you to keep away from alopathic medicines.

It is indicated for mild to moderate infection to pneumonia..
Also for haemophyllus influenza.

I presume it is Erythromycin, which is an antibiotic for throat infection. However I recommend you to take such antibiotic only under the supervision of of a Physician.

Azithromycin is an antibiotic. It is used for the treatment of a number of conditions including some sexually transmitted infections such as Chlamydia. It is sometimes known as Zithromax.
