Ginding teeth especially in children is known as BRUXISM. It may lead to damaging forms of dental disorders if not treated early.
Before going to bed make the child chew an apple, cauliflower or carrot. This will calm the child's overactive mouth and prevent grinding.Sleeping on chold's side or your stomach may increase your chances of bruxism. The best position to sleep is on your back to reduce the stress.

this is not so abnormal .do not worry as he is nice n healthy. get in touch with a child specialist and consult.

He might be affected with worms. Just de-worm him once in three months.He will be alright soon.:)

How old is he?
He might be feeling some itching in his mouth. Is your wife still breast feeding? if yes then check with a doctor for some irregularity in the milk.

If he is at the age of breast feeding then he might be dreaming something and getting angry..

Make him sleep without his hands under his head or under the body. Hands should be free while sleeping, doesn't matter if folded.

The main cause for dreaming is that we keep our hand under our head and the blood flow affected so the brain gets all varied blood flow .. so we get dreams.

though i am not a medical expert, it is a stmptom of worms in your child's stomatch. De-worm the child. Educate him/her for cleanliness. He/she should always wash his/her hand before a meal. Go and consult a child physician.
