A person should possess both of the characterstics. Many a persons loose more since they cannot say "They Won't" In order to be pleasant and friendly they inadvertantly surrender to the other person's requests or offers. Had they takenb time to pomnder over the various pros and cons they would have remained wiser. They should develope a strong sense of right or wrong and should be vehement in their expressions.
As to the strong will power, that is very rarely found in human beings. If they have had good education and knowledge they will know that strength of will power may take them to more high pedestals. They can become Someone from Anyone.A strong will gives you a leverage to make others understand your viewpoint and to respect to your reasoning. You garner more respect from others.

a strong will i possess. and because of this i came back alive after a fatal accident a few years back.
