It is because of the richness of a person, he starts thinking that there is nothing he could do. The most essential thing in the world is the money. If we don't have money we can't even buy our daily foods and so we have to accept this ugly truth that money is the most essential thing for us. But, when we have excess of it, we use it for some unsocial works. It is for the money only people indulge themselves in crimes like robbery, kidnapping, theft, fraud, etc. So, money is believed to be cause of all evils.

Well Money if not God is next to it, so money cannot be all that bad. But years of experiences say that loads of money create greed for more, inhuman deeds and many a more human follies. The experiences are based on facts and can be termed scientific, that makes money or the excess of it the root cause of evil.

Dear Rajib,
I believe its not the money is the cause of all evils but its just a medium of a source which is root of all evils.

In my personal understanding power in any form is the one, because power always comes with resposibilty and power always corrupts people.

Money is an another source of power so we think that money is the cause of all evils.

Evils in the society were also present with the evolution of the manking and way before the existance of actual money.

Money, cant eat it, cant wear it, and cant live without it. All evil is done for some sort of gain and money represents all gains, so in a way all evil is done for money but it is certainly not the root of that evil. I think if there was no money we would still blame the devil for everything.

Money is good, no doubt. It is necessary for all of us. That is also correct.

But this is also correct that money is the proximate cause of all evils. Because, all evil works are accomplished engaging money only. Through money you cannot buy peace but you engage a professional killer to kill your business partner in order to grab the entire project. You can engage smugglers to enhance your black marketer’s business. By using money you can buy political leaders, business magnets, hoarders and utilize in your own interest. You may gain even the social status spending money. If you have enough of money, overnight you may become famous by building anything wonders to the people.

Therefore, the social, moral, economical and even (sometimes) spiritual evils come to our notice, we find money behind all those wonders.
