After marriage people live in different world. And that is the world of commitment to each other. The living style and everything before and after marriage are totally different.
For an ideal marriage the presupposed elements are,
1. The primary roles for an ideal marriage are to be played by the husband and the wife.
2. Both husband and wife should know and understand each other properly.
3. A congenial and good relation between the two families.
4. Both should commitment to each other.
5. There should be trust between husband and wife.
6. Openness of both towards other members of the family.
7. The main and the final element is the objective towards achieving an ideal marriage in the long run.
If it is so then people have to change accordingly. But from a girlfriend's (who is not married to him) point of view the person seems different in a change that the girl feels neglected after the marriage. That situation is the same the girl also when she gets married to another person giving a break to her boy friend.
