Well Erica Paradoxically there is a category here Religion and Spirituality. This encourages the people to ask people to ask such questions. I think personally there is no harm in doing it. The choice is ours, we needn't answer any question if we don't want to.

If people keep religious beliefs to themselves, how other people will come to know what a particular religion says about everything. The religious beliefs which are encripted in the religious books are great but the person involved in expansion of the religion misguids people by stating something eroneously or by shaping the beliefs to their comfort for their ease so that they have a permanent source of establishment and respect. I always respect the religious beliefs but not who tries to impose those on others.

Many people are there who keep their religious faith with themselves only. This is the preachers and others who are engaged to spread the ideal of their religion among others. The Christian Missionary often reported to impose their religion on others. By doing this the feel that they have followed their God’s command. But this is totally illogical.

Yes it is all personal. No one can mandatory impose those beliefs on any one. One can always retaliate if some one tries to impose on him.

It is more abt ego and power and things like that...religion is the most accessible and most potent of platforms to express ur desire for power over other ppl...for such ppl, it no longer is a matter of personal belief and freedom of speech and expression!
