I don't think there is any relation between a prostitute and a general man. A prostitute too is a general person. They earn their living by way of prostitution and so they are termed prostitutes. They don't get equal respect in the society as other general man for their profession but those who visit them are always respectable.
The only relation we can build between a general man and a prostitute may be that a general man visits a prostitute for physical or sexual needs.

Prostitutes are usually the females who sale their bodies in return of money. This is not concerned if or not they enjoy sex with their clients. And a general man is a common man. he does not have any connection with the prostitutes if they are treated as two different ideas.
