'Promise Ring' is a ring that is offered to the lady who is engaged for marriage with a man. This custom is followed in India too though this is basically a tradition of the West.

Promise rings means the promise which two couple make with each other while joining in a relationship.It is just like a engagement ring.Because engagement rings shows that person is a committed person.But the difference is that we cannot see promise rings till we gives some symbol to it.So this is called Promise Rings.

Well Well they are not promise rings. they are purity rings. Promise rings are given from a boyfriend to a girlfriend usually promising a future engagement ring.
What you want is a purity ring. Do you understand what goes along with that? It's not just a trend, it's a promise to god that you will be married to your girl friend and you will never cheat her till ur marriage. Don't take this lightly and just do it because it's the trend, do it because that is what you believe and you want to spiritual aspect of it.
