What are the basic differences between a married couple and a couple in love?  

nothing much both the parties will be involved in love. But married couple are accepted in the society whereas lovers are not legally accepted by the society. Married couple can be separated with the help of divorce and lovers can leave each other at any time in life. Married couple might not have the love as much as the couple in love. Many of couple in love first love then later in life marry the same person...Love will finally end up with marriage, it is stepping stone.

couple in love make more time for each other and the married couple are confident that they have each other so take it in stride

Couple in Love may not get married and married couple may not love each other.
but couple in love have an advantage of each others support and feelings but married couple ( those who are not in love with each other) lack in this advantage and are even worse in their siutations

MARRIED IS LEGALISED FORM OF HAVING ALL TYPES OF FREEDOM AND SEX BUT IF NOT MARRIED AND IS NOT SUPPORTED BY SOCIETY NORMS IT BECOMES ILLEGAL AND PROBLEMATIC I THINK

Actually what I understand,the meaning of couples means,married persons,husband and wife.How can one say that 'couple in love' for a boy friend and a girl friend?
The BASIC difference is that,a married couple,huband and wife, is the "society approved and goverment approved through law as husband and wife".They both act as next-of-kin to each other and law permits.The husband has a duty to lookafter her and their children,Only law or death can separate them from this strong bond.
"A couple in love",that is a boy friend and girl friend is not the society approved or government approved bond.They can separate and can be separated by self or society.He is not bound to give maintenance to her,as she never has been his wife and he never has been her husband.She got no rigt to his property under the law.If there happend to be some offspring from them,they will not have any approval from the society. (OF COURSE SHE CAN MOVE TO COURT,THATS ALL.) Theses are the basic difference between these two.

There are all the differences. A married couple can co-habituate,make social attendance,look after the family,perform religious activities,and amongst others go into physical relations.
The couple in love although can do all these, are not encouraged by the society.
The former is GUARANTEE , the other WARRANTY
