no it is not necessary as long as you dont believe in it.just plan on which date you wanna purchase the vehicle and go for it.normally who believes in it does not go on saturday.

You can purchase a vehicle any day other day than the Saturday.
But, that is not important. The main thing that the people in the inner circle prefer is the vehicle made or assembled on Monday and Tuesday. It is believed that the workers had had a good rest on the weekend and on the holiday i.e. the Sunday and they perform more laboriously and with better concentration in assembling a vehicle on these two days. Thereafter the vehicles are being made but, the verve is lost. They work as a disenchanted worker.

Do not make your mind weak looking at any auspicious time to purchase your vehicle. That is out and out superstitious thing. Nothing is dependent on the selection of time. Even you purchase your vehicle in an auspicious moment, no body can give you assurance it will not make any accident unless you are careful. Those old belief are gone. Try to be realistic.
