No vamsi you will get points in ur 3 favourite categories,if you can able to earn points more in other category than one of existing then ur category will be changed by new one.

I asked a similar question but the contents were different.
You get points from all the answers but you earn them in your given categories only.
When your points grow more than the given one your category is changed.
Say for example you are given the Puja & Rituals category and you've earned say 500 points in that category. Now in an ungiven category if your points grow more than 500 then the Ibibo administrators change your category. They think your prime interest lies there, and that is a natural assumption.

You will earn points on your answers based on the total points in your top three categories only.
That means cumulative points in your top three categories will determine your expert level. If you answer to any sawaal in any other category other than your top three categories, you will not earn any point for that. However, if you keep answering in a category and if its points cross the points in any one of your existing category then authority may change that category.
That means you will always get points only on top three categories.
