Nothing wrong with it.Prostitution should be legalised so that a proper control will be there on sex workers.Every body knows in every town sex work or prostitution going on.Big example are Sona gachhi of calcutta ,GB road in New delhi .Administrators know about it.So why govt is not legalising i dont understand.MAy be it is delayed for lack of political will and opposition party politics.

Prostitution should be legalized not only for this but it will help the sex workers more.Now their earnings are also not theirs alone. they need to pay protection money,bribe and share their money with their pimps . it is sheer exploation of a helpless woman.Legalizing this will go a long way to improve many lives.

The main drawbacks of this country is politicizations of each and every issue. There has been a long pending demand that the prostitutes be given recognition and like wine shop it be legalized. Sonargachhi of Kolkata once raised this issue but till date nothing has been done except been declared red light area. Not that by legalising the sex related crime would come down, it would at least give a status and recognition to the people involved as 'Sex Workers'.

unless the country men believe that one wife is enough and DONT THINK OF SEX, what u say will have to be legallized as a regular source of their income as their talent whatever little or more they have is of no use to the country.

i don't think so that your thoughts are right as this will uncrease the rest of the crime rate as people do the bad work to earn money for paying to those prostitute so it should not be legalized ratherit should be banned.

prostitution is legalized only in some part it is not but also u can find out hidenly. But that will not solve the problems of sex related. the punishment should be of different type, so if soem body do it he/she have to think 100 times to go with.

No this profession should not be legalised.Already this is something that we are all against.There are diseases being spread and this should be put to a big stop rather than legalizing it.This profession is ILLEGAL and I strongly object in LEGALIZING it.

Prostitution legal kar do theek hai par kahin ye har gali mohalle mein na shuru ho jaye. Waise crime se nipatne ke liye doshiyon ko sakht saza di jaye aur faisla bhi jaldi hona chahiye.
Rape aur sexual abuse karne walo ko tit for tat style mein yani ki chineese tortoure style mein saza do.

Yes prostitution should be legalized.
there is no denying the fact that there are atleast a million women who work as prostitutes and earn their livelihood and this industry has been around since time immemorial in India.
Why give sops to the IT industry and deny the existence of Prostitution.
Most Netas and babus and corporators and MLA have relations with Prostitutes and call girls and Mujrahs etc.- why do they cry hoarse about them and deny them the rights of a normal human being.
If we legalize prostitution, then it reduces at least one avenue for the Police,the Netas and the Babus to receive bribes.
Indians have double standards on issues concerning sex and it reflects on their approach to these issues.
The more we delay, the more it would affect society.
Its a wrong notion that prostitutes are responsible for AIDS-if prostitutes are spreading AIDS, then isnt the Man who visits them and carries the Virus back to his Wife/Girlfriend the main culprit!!
Whom are we cheating-our society,our family or ourselves!!
Its time to give this profession a legal status!!
