NO, it should not be your faut if you committed a mistake in your innocence but it was an excuse for the members of your family to separate and fall apart. Actually when there is no strong reason for an issue to show as a cause slightest of the mistakes of any one would spark the fire and the fire eats up the joy and cheer of the ones like you.

you need not feel guilty. But feel rather happy that you relived a bunch of people from living our a suffocated life as they were one earlier.

Dear Saq first you have to understand that mistake is mistake and from your question it is clear that you have done a severe mistake so that as a result your family falls apart,how can some body does a mistake in innocence that can cause severe problem to a family.If you feel as innocent then convince every individual in the family and try to reunite them.Hope every body will believe you.

One should not be so innocent as to bring disgrace to the family. If inadvertently you made a mistake there are always apologies and ramifications.If you realise your mistake that makes you more intelligent and humane.Go to the root cause.Employ your best efforts to save the family. If you have done mistake and that mistake is the reason for separation of family than i think you can only improve your mistake which you have done.Just gather all family members any how and tell about your mistake and also include that you are very sorry for this mistake which you have done innocently.In this way everything will be settled.

innocence or no the fault is yours so now you need to work double to make them understand that you really did not mean it and work at it even if it takes a life time and that is if you want this relationship at all

yes this your fault you cannot be so innocent to make a mistake that make a family apart, well if you really have done that then i thnk this mistake is very amateur for you and try not to repeat and try to make the family again if you can as u were the reason for there break off.
