Main thing is loopholes in legal procedures,most of the criminals escaped from punishment due to lack of witness.So some sort of amendment needed in this aspect where no witness is there but strong evidence for a murder still available.Final thing is people have to rectify their character and moral value first.

The checker of the Crimes itself are the criminal in our country. In such condition how can we expect to reduce the crime rate? If there is a committed Govt. in the center and makes it mandatory to put one and all found involved in criminal activities.

We will have to start from the scratch.The new generation will have to be taught lessons of discipline, honour and dignity.
Meanwhile new institutions will have to be opened with new and sincere teachers to teach History,civic duties,etiquette and heritage.
We can cross our heart and pray that the new generation will be a healthy one.

we friend truly speaking this not possible till the universe end because everyone from top to bottom are much corrupted and all have walked far away from honesty so no one wants to look behind and they even don't want to aware themselves so its not possible to reduce the crime rate in India .

In India no one except police and Government can reduce crime rate.Its because if the culprit is arrested than court leaves him on bail and he has committed some high crime of murder or reap than the case will run in court for years and years.The last date of case will come when the culprit is enough old or he might have died.So now tell will crime reduce by seeing this situation.

Main solution is strict implementation of law and it should be equal for politicians also,because politicians are mainly responsible for increasing rate of criminals activity because they are utilising criminals for their self interest .Another thing is loopholes in legal procedures,most of the criminals escaped from punishment due to lack of witness.So some sort of amendment needed in this aspect where no witness is there but strong evidence for a murder still available.Final thing is people have to rectify their character and moral value first.

Lot of meetings, discussions, and seminars are held to discuss the issue. Many suggestions put forward also. Few of then are;
1. Government says enforcement and enhancement of existing police force to arrest the incidence of crime.
2. Camera phone. It has recently been suggested that camera phones can can now be used to capture the photographs and videos of criminal activities and can be sent to the national police data base directly through a country-wide telephone number.
3. Legalizing prostitution. This is another thoughts that by legalizing prostitution in India increase of sexual and other social crimes.
4. Exhaustive use of TV, Radio and other media publicity to create public awareness.

It is a global phinomenon,more and more people are becoming criminal in mantality. Why, people,young and old,male and female all becoming in such mentality,is strange.People are not afraid of the law and the law enforcing authority,where the curruption is rampent.Now any criminal can escape from,if he has money and political backing.It is actually our society which is responsible for this increase in crime.We people are not dare enough to voice against the criminals in public.Another point is that,the court and the law enforcing authority should act some more strictly and make due legislational changes in the matter of awarding severe punishment and the punishment should act as a detterent to all criminals.It will surely reduce the the number of criminals.

The rate of crime is increasing day by day because of our assaultness. So we should correct ourself first. Now days we cannot see anybody fighting for faith & humanity because they should be safe at any time at any situation. This must be changed. Then we can think about revising of our LAWS. Good Luck.

Dear friend.enforcing more laws will actually increase the crime rate. We should psychologically handle the problem. Arrange awareness classes to public .Teach them how to settle disputes in a familly , or frienship etc by mutual understanding. Pursuade people to avoid bribing and dowry . Police too should handle criminals psychologically . Whenever a dispute arises try to settle it before it becomes worse. Avoid filing cases against anyone if possible and make them realise what crime he had done and advice him amicably not to reapeat it .In order to reduce the crime rate in India there should be mutual understanding and love among people.
