Yes, if we compare the educational scenario of the gone by years and that of today, we see education has lost its value for it has taken the shape of commercialism. so many private institutions, huge amount of admission fee and many other factors have added to its business trend. This has resulted in non creativity among the students as they are just crammer.

With the advancement of science and technology and followed by competitive scope for professional employment, education also becomes more competitive. Under competition every thing goes in the same way. As a result education becomes more costly now a day. Therefore, some private organizations take the advantage of it and making profit out of it as a business.

Dear UWON , EDUCATION in INDIA has certainly become a business because it is run by the people who are hungry for money and taken by the people who also hungry for money. In vedic periods EDUCATION was governed by HRISHI's who does it only for GIVING KNOWLEDGE and not for SELLING KNOWLEDGE. EDUCATION means aquiring knowledge to live but nowdays it is mean of aquiring MONEY. People are ready to spend lakhs of ruppes to make their pupil HIGH EDUCATED (????????) which gave opportunity to owners of EDUCATION institutes to make its business which reasulted in to depriving poor students .In short We are completely responsible for all this.

Yes i agree with you,but i dont see anything wrong,those are doing it ,they also invest lakhs and crores to give facility to students.They hire competent tutors,advanced system for students so that they can do well in competitive.Every body want success ,so those are investing ,they also want return.

Which is not business here,can you tell? Even you go to a temple,musjid or church, all are trying to make a profit out of it.When some one makes a profit from some thing it becomes a business.
Education has become a most profitable business in our society.Can any one sell education and make profit? Yes,here,big money lords invest in buildings and other moveable and immoveable assets,in the name of schools and colleges,and takes capitation fees,building funds etc.It continues for years and years amassing huge amounts in multiples of their investment..When state authority fail in their duty,the private ' MONEY LORDS ',do this .Why this state of affair.Answer is ;it is due to the failur of government.
