yes it should be, u can file ur case in court with 2 evidence.Of if you don't want to go in court then its upto u than how you can punish him? But don't forgive him till he apoloized u.

Maybe you should talk to a senior of the senior and see? Merely asking whether it is right for you to have to put up with that could improve the situation. Does your work-place have a union?

Yeah Mrinal .... It is very much punishable .... seniors think that they are extra special and also due to their clout with Managers sometimes go overboard. They need to be punished after a couple of warnings.Raj

Yes it is punishable. There is an act for that. Are you working in public sector or private sector? If public sector, there is an act according to WIPS (Women in Public Sector), it is punishable.
